Results-driven senior management professional with a proven record of supporting the DoD, Intelligence, and Civil Communities: Manage the full life-cycle of multiple concurrent contracts (prime and sub), across multiple customer organizations, encompassing multiple functional disciplines (i.e. Cybersecurity and Information Technology) and at geographically disparate locations. Provide oversight for contracts management, financial management, security management, technical performance, customer relations, communications and reporting, deliverables, and personnel development. Successfully grow corporate revenue, profit and staff, identifying and capturing new opportunities, executing contracts (including organic growth) and the capture of follow-on business. Provide participation and oversight of multiple prime and subcontract proposals for re-compete and/or new business. May work directly with the client(s) and helps develop sound business relationships. The Operations Leader must be able to work and lead in a fast-paced growth environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of a P&L center providing IT, Cybersecurity and Intelligence
  • Oversee all phases of delivery, to include ensuring all positions are fully staffed, time accounting, contract management, reporting, customer relations, risk management, project execution and deliverables, and new/organic business growth
  • Develop and execute organic growth models, maintaining and improving revenue and operating margin goals
  • Support new business develop growth models, working hand-in-hand with the business development team
  • Manages company areas of Program Management Operations (PMO). Coaches and develops team in all areas of performance including, but not limited to quality, quantity, productivity and leadership.
  • Manages day-to-day tasks to achieve department goals and serves as a link between General Management and department employees.
  • Provide direct supervision over programs and to team/task leads, oversee work plans and fulfillment of deliverables, ensure quality services and positive client communications, and oversee team/task leads in responding to urgent requests as well as routine operations in a high-tempo, dynamic team.
  • Maintain understanding of connections among the work of the teams and collaborate with industry partners (prime and sub).
  • Build relationships and partnerships with internal/external customers, including industry business and government leaders through which the company can anticipate growth, define requirements, and help determine best solutions
  • Demonstrates impeccable customer service skills; manages customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for assistance
  • Presents monthly/quarterly Program Management Reviews, demonstrating achievement levels and goals
  • Hires, trains, develops and retains a diverse workforce. Writes and conducts performance evaluations, makes employment decisions, sets performance goals and objectives for assigned team.

  • Be able to inspire trust, delegate responsibility and provide direction to staff/employees
  •  Ability to proactively develop and maintain solid business and Industry partnerships in the Business, IT and Cyber Security domains
  • Ensure success in balancing the company and customer needs with the legal and financial expectations of the organization and ensure needed business outcomes
  • Must have the ability to adapt. Be flexible to circumstances that are unexpected; Have the necessary creative thinking to find a new solution to any problem that may appear
  • Proven ability to properly decipher, understand and then relate the vision of the organization to the employees so that productivity is maintained
  • Ability to think strategically, identify, and apply critical success factors when developing management and technical strategy and plans for assigned area of responsibility. Ability to translate diverse pieces of information into meaningful conclusions and results
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely express ideas and concepts verbally and in writing and adopts writing style and language to fit the situation/audience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively develop and lead high performing Information Technology and Cyber Security teams in meeting functional, department, and company goals and objectives. Ability to take charge and get results within a team environment

  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for positive change, identify alternative best practice solutions and anticipate future problems and opportunities
  • Demonstrated problem identification and problem resolution skills used to effectively determine and implement alternative solutions and bring issues to a positive resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to apply assessment measurement and evaluation techniques to ensure processes, systems and applications meet business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex of problem; adds personal wisdom and experience to come to the best conclusion and solution, given the situation; using multiple problem-solving tools and techniques
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; Security Clearance desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Higher level degree desired
  • 5 to 10 years of demonstrated expertise managing the full life-cycle of multiple concurrent contracts (prime and sub), across multiple customer organizations, with multiple functional disciplines (i.e. Cybersecurity and Information Technology) and at geographically disparate locations
  • Federal Government Contract Management expertise; experience with cost, schedule, performance and submitting quality deliverables for multiple concurrent programs
  • Demonstrated experience of corporate operations, processes, functions and activities
  • Knowledge and expertise managing program P&L
  • Proven experience managing all phases of staffing and recruiting (little or no attrition), time accounting, contract management, reporting, security, customer relations, risk management, project execution and deliverables, and business growth
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information
  • Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner
  • Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management
  • Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Demonstrated effective project management, presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  •  Ability to proactively and continually collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure needed business outcomes
