A3T’s Finance and Payroll Specialist (AR/AP/Payroll)t will support company operations by maintaining office tasks/systems and perform the duties of payroll administration, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and other administrative tasks (as assigned).Finance Support- Accounts Payable: Review List of Reoccurring Bills/APs, validate accuracy of Charges, submit payment on due date and reporting.
- Accounts Receivable: Review, track and reconcile invoices/AR’s Due; ensure on-time submission of invoices and receipt of payments
- Invoices: Prepare and submit accurate invoices in a timely manner; attention to detail is key
- Payroll Administration: administer payroll with utmost attention to detail; ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Assists with administratively and financially on-boarding of new employees & orientation; to include out-processing actions (as needed)
- Perform Benefits Administration support activities, monitor, track, and report costs
- Assist with implementing office policies, standards, and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustment
Office Management- Perform administrative tasks and responsible for making sure that company support activities are running smoothly and consistently
- Responsible for preparing reports, timecard reviews, working with vendors and company executives, and analyzing tasks to determine options for cost-savings and efficiency
- Maintain office services, processes, and procedures by organizing, tracking, and monitoring office administrative tasks; assisting with correspondence; assistance with filing systems, monitoring clerical functions
- Complete operational requirements by scheduling and working with the management team and employees; following up and reporting on work results
- Participate as needed in special company projects, as needed
- Make small purchases and track expenses
- Assist employees and customers with finance inquiries or request for support until closure
Qualifications- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience performing invoicing/payroll/budgeting for small-midsized defense contractor
- Experience providing financial inputs for monthly status reports and in support of project management
- Must have Knowledge and experience working as a Federal Government Contractor, Firm-fixed price/Time and Materials, and finance systems (e.g., WAWF)
