Microsoft Administrator II (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain Microsoft-based IT infrastructure: Windows Server, Windows 11, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Office 365, and Azure.
· Oversee deployment, configuration, migration, and integration of Microsoft technologies into the enterprise environment.
· Conduct updates, backups, patching, and troubleshooting to ensure stability, availability, and security.
· Administer user accounts, permissions, roles, and access controls to maintain a secure environment.
· Implement and enforce security policies in compliance with agency baselines, federal directives, and industry regulations.
· Monitor system performance and proactively address operational issues.
· Manage software deployment and updates using tools like SCCM and Intune.
· Maintain M365 Conditional Access Policies and provide expertise on Microsoft identity and access solutions.
· Participate in disaster recovery planning, execution, and testing.
· Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration baselines.
· Provide technical support and mentorship to IT staff and guidance to end users.
· Collaborate with stakeholders across IT projects to ensure Microsoft technologies align with enterprise goals.
· Participate in on-call schedules and patch rotations for 24/7 operational support.
Minimum Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
· Experience: Minimum of 7 years in IT infrastructure management, with hands-on expertise in:
- End-user systems support
- Automated server builds
- Cloud-based deployments
- Data center operations
- Entra ID / Active Directory
- Exchange Online
- Office 365 / M365
- SharePoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or successor certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
- (Preferred) Other advanced Microsoft certifications relevant to listed technologies (Intune, Security, Teams, SharePoint).
- Must pass background investigation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
