The Graphics and Web Developer shall provide web development and webmaster support as follows: Manage, implement and direct the graphical design, site planning and layout of web applications, websites, and web related services and technology by utilizing dynamic and static web interfaces using HTML, DHTML, VB Script, Java Scripts, and Cascading Style Sheets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and support web content with Blogs, RSS/News feeds, audio and video, and social networking services and their associated APIs.
  • Consult with business content owners and a variety of content providers, departments, and offices to provide solutions, drafting the final version for publication.
  • Provide input and feedback to content owners and management support on design, aesthetics, and implementation of enriching features and technologies within the Government environment.
  • Perform maintenance, administration, and enhancement of websites and web-based services.
  • Determine sources of web page or server problems and take action to correct such problems.
  • Document application and web site changes or change procedures.
  • Design and implement links to other DoD websites that comply with DoD and U.S. Army G-6 standards and regulations.
  • Track, compile, and analyze web site usage data.
  • Provide graphics solutions to use in branding, logos, web graphics for final draft publication.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Standards.
  • Back up or modify applications and related data to provide for disaster recovery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Must have an active Secret-level or higher clearance and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study, OR three (4) years related Web Services experience.
  • Must obtain a Computing Environment certification in accordance with Department of Defense directive 8570.01-M (i.e. Security+) to include Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management. All certifications and training must be maintained throughout the contract.
