A3T, a fast-growing firm, specializes in Defensive Cyber Security Services, Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Solutions and Mission Operations & Enterprise Enablement driven by customer requirements. We are seeking an Information Technologist I – Information Management Officer (IMO) to provide client administration and Tier 1 end-user support for Microsoft desktop and laptop systems in an Army enterprise environment. The IMO will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting client systems, standard applications, and classroom audiovisual technology in accordance with Army security, configuration, and operational standards. This role supports users onsite and remotely and works closely with System Administrators and the Network Enterprise Center (NEC).

Key Responsibilities
Client Administration & Endpoint Management
  • Provide client administration for Microsoft desktop and laptop systems.
  • Register client equipment within the installation software and asset management system.
  • Establish, maintain, delete, and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune accounts and client systems.
  • Configure and support Standard Army application systems.
Desktop, Application & Hardware Support
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Maintain systems in compliance with Army configuration standards, including service packs, patches, security fixes, and antivirus updates.
  • Install, configure, and maintain authorized Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) applications.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve desktop baseline application and email issues.
  • Conduct commercial hardware repair on computer systems.
Tier 1 User Support
  • Provide Tier 1 support via telephone assistance, remote control tools, and on‑site user support.
  • Accurately diagnose and resolve standard application and configuration issues.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical users at all organizational levels.
System Administration & NEC Coordination
  • Coordinate standard system image configuration changes with the NEC.
  • Assist System Administrators with testing client applications, security patches, system software, and network hardware configurations.
  • Support installation and testing activities and ensure all changes are properly documented.
Documentation & Service Desk Operations
  • Create and update technical documentation, including Continuity Books, SOPs, and User Guides.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and configuration change requests.
  • Use the Army Enterprise Service Desk system to create, update, modify, and resolve customer support incidents and service requests.
Classroom & Audiovisual Support
  • Provide daily on‑site operational and sustainment Tier 1 support for classroom audiovisual equipment, including hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft Teams video conferencing for classrooms.
Team Support & Knowledge Sharing
  • Provide guidance and technical support to desktop services technicians, assigned users, and peers.
  • Serve as a technical representative during meetings and user engagements as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must either possess an associate’s degree in information systems/computer science or technically related degree; OR three (3) years of technically related field experience in desktop support or network administration.
  • Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain a CompTIA Security+ or higher certification.
  • Must obtain appropriate Computing Environment (CE) training for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices they will support. All training must be maintained throughout the performance of services.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of client support in a Microsoft Windows-based environment. The current Microsoft environment is Windows 11 with Microsoft 365.
  • Must have experience with providing client support for users on Microsoft Windows network operating systems in a Microsoft Intune environment using applications in Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage and Access).
  • Must possess a strong base of experience in troubleshooting and resolving desktop related issues or user problems.
  • Must be knowledgeable in PC imaging, connectivity, remote printer setup and troubleshooting automated E-Mail systems.
  • Must have the ability to quickly and accurately diagnose and resolve problems with computer hardware/software from a remote location.
  • Must have experience in implementing systems security to include managing and issuing passwords, establishing user/group accounts, and recommending and developing file permission attributes.
  • Must have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical users at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have a good understanding and experience with general connectivity issues in LAN/WAN/Internet environments.
  • Must have an advanced understanding of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Skilled verbal and written communication techniques required to conduct meetings, and prepare reports and other correspondence.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Possess analytical processing skills.
